This year, we’ve probably all been longing a little extra for that feeling when the grass slowly starts to turn green, the early spring flowers begin to peek through, and the light—that magical spring light. It smells of spring when you go out riding, and you wish those late afternoons would never end.
We did as we did last year and welcomed spring in Herning, Jutland. This year, too, it gave us a sense that things are turning round. You can feel it in the air and see it in the people visiting the fair. Clothes are light, jumpers are thin, and in some cases pale legs peek out from under short skirts.
Herning is different from the trade fairs we have in Sweden. Here, it feels more like one big market. There are loads of halls teeming with exhibitors, and at times it’s really difficult to make your way through all the visitors.
For us, who are now starting to feel a bit chilly in our clothes, it was lovely to meet our existing Danish customers. The feedback we receive at these trade fairs is so incredibly important. We want to constantly develop and improve, and we believe we do this best by talking to all the horse lovers we meet.
After an intense and eventful period with two major trade fairs in just three weeks, it was absolutely wonderful to be back home again – with the whole family, both two-legged and four-legged.
At the same time, exciting things are happening. Some of our horses have now moved closer to Malmö, to Stall Högalund, which gives us even better opportunities to make more time for what we love most of all – training and development.
We are also very happy to have welcomed Thea to our team! She lives on the farm and you’ll be seeing her in various contexts going forward – at the warehouse, during our sponsored competitions and in front of the camera, where she helps us showcase all our products in the best possible way.
Now we have all these wonderful things ahead of us; we just need to enjoy every day and capture those little moments that add a little extra sparkle to everyday life. Spring is finally here!
